Subject: Help Us Spread the Word - Adobe Research is Looking for Research
Candidates

Dear Professor,

We are reaching out to you to help us spread the word about research
candidate opportunities at Adobe Research.

As you are aware, Adobe Research has an efficient and enjoyable model for
producing exciting and innovative features in our products. Many of our
features started with the aid of internships. The close ties with academia
allow the researchers to not only stay current with the latest academic
results but also attract top talent to Adobe Research.

A typical researcher at Adobe will be involved with 2 - 6 internships each
summer, investigating new ideas and technologies. Many of those internships
result in University collaborations and produce high caliber industry
publications. For example, Adobe Researchers co-authored 9 SIGGRAPH and 20
CVPR publications this year.

A brief highlight of an Adobe Researcher; beyond the internship projects, an
Adobe Researcher will have other projects in various stages of design and
development. After the initial design, a researcher will proceed with a
prototype to be demonstrated to product teams at Adobe, which can then lead
to adoption by a product team with the aid of the researcher and a tech
transfer engineer and ultimately to the delight of the Adobe consumer.

We are looking for research candidates at all levels of seniority in the
areas of Computer Graphics and Computer Vision. In addition, we are looking
for research candidates to help extend and improve the research process on a
wide range of projects making them more robust for inclusion in current and
future Adobe products.

We greatly value your time and your input. We welcome any and all
recommendations you may have of students past and present.

On behalf of Adobe Research,

Chris Spencer
