[4eyes] SoCal Rendering Day

Dear 4-Eyes Lab Colleagues,

We are in the process of organizing a workshop we are calling the "SoCal
Rendering Day," an event that brings together rendering researchers from
SoCal universities (Lingqi and I from UCSB, Shuang Zhao from UC Irvine,
Ravi Ramamoorthi and Henrik Wann Jensen from UCSD) as well as some
folks from industry.

I think most of the presentations/discussion will focus on high-end
(physically-
based) rendering, but there might also be some discussion about new
real-time
possibilities (e.g., NVIDIA's RTX). So I thought it might be of interest to
some
of you in the 4-Eyes Lab.

The one-day meeting will be held on October 10, 2018 at UCSD. If anyone in
4-Eyes is interesting in attending, please let me know.
