For international students: OISS has English conversation classes for 
you or your spouse.

The team also arranges international student nights every other week on 
Fridays, usually on a UCSB professor's home. Eating, conversations, 
play, fun. It is a nice way to get to know people.

My wife is involved with these activities (and also me a little bit). If 
anyone is interested on the Friday nights, you can contact me, and I 
will give you the details or maybe even a ride if you need one.
