Subject: Facebook Seattle Computational Photography call for research interns

*** CALL FOR INTERNS -- PLEASE REDISTRIBUTE ***

The Computational Photography group at Facebook Seattle is looking for summer Research Interns. Our group uses advanced image processing, computer vision, data analytics and AI to empower users to visually capture and share their world and experiences, and to create compelling and immersive stories.

We do this by:

1. Helping people take better photos & videos 2. Making people's photos & videos come alive 3. Helping people make better and more engaging selfies and portraits 4. Providing the world's best immersive photo & video experiences

Interns are strongly encouraged to aim for publication in top tier graphics, vision, HCI, and machine learning conferences and also have the opportunity to impact 1+ billion users across Facebook, Instagram, Oculus, and WhatsApp with their work.

Our internships have a minimum 12-week duration with summer start dates and are in our Seattle office. Internships will be awarded on a rolling basis and candidates are encouraged to apply early. Applicants are expected to be pursuing a PhD in one of the areas listed above; outstanding masters and bachelors students may also be considered. To apply please complete the following two steps:
