My name is Ari Pinkas and I am an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at TandemLaunch
<http://www.tandemlaunch.com/> , a Montreal-based venture capital fund and
startup incubator that scouts, incubates, and commercializes early-stage
technologies from the world's top universities. Our company has repeatedly
built high growth companies such as LANDR <https://www.landr.com/en> ,
Mirametrix <http://www.mirametrix.com/> , Algolux <http://algolux.com/> ,
and SPORTLOGiQ <http://sportlogiq.com/> , just to give a few examples.

 

We're currently working on a very exciting computer vision/graphics
technology and are actively looking for a CTO to lead the technical aspects
of the project. The technology specifically concerns real-time face tracking
and reconstruction, and expression photo-realistic re-rendering. 

 

We are wondering whether any of your PhD students (about to graduate) or
post-doctoral fellows would want to join this project and were hoping that
you could recommend one to us. Note that we are close to securing $500k of
seed funding for the venture.

 

Besides, if you're interested in hearing more about TandemLaunch, I'd be
very happy to introduce our incubator model to you by phone/skype.
