Subject: Fall Internship at Google Seattle
To: Aseem Agarwala <aseemaa at google.com>
I have a late-breaking opening for a fall research internship at Google
Seattle, starting in September or October. I have several project ideas in
the area of image/video synthesis using convolutional neural networks
(CNNs). The ideal intern is:
1.
A PhD student with experience applying CNNs to interesting problems.
2.
Interested in applying CNNs to pixel synthesis, rather than
recognition/analysis.
3.
Available to come to Seattle for 12-14 weeks Fall 2016.
Our research group on computational imaging includes Aseem Agarwala, David
Lowe, Matthew Brown, and Li Zhang. We are also co-located with many other
fantastic vision/graphic researchers, such as Steve Seitz, Dan Goldman,
Sameer Agarwal, and Jason Lawrence.
The office is perfectly located, right on the water and in the center of
Seattle's fabulous Fremont district (http://goo.gl/8qLam), with a zillion
hip restaurants and cafes nearby. That is, if you actually feel like
paying for your meals (hard to resist Google's free gourmet breakfasts,
lunch, and dinners)!
If you know of good candidates, please forward this application, and if
this sounds interesting to you, please apply! It's best to apply ASAP.
Please apply by sending a CV to Aseem Agarwala (aseemaa at google.com) with
title “Seattle Fall Internship Application.”
Thanks,
Aseem Agarwala
