[4eyes] Visiting PhD applicant today

We have a PhD applicant visiting this afternoon (I just found out). I can’t meet with him until 4:30pm or so. Are there any PhD students (or recently graduated PhD students!) available to chat with him at least briefly? If so, please send him an email and CC me.

Yeah I am visiting as planned today. I did not plan to send a message until I board the train because I think too many emails will annoy people. I will arrive in UCSB at noon but I would like to wait for you till 5.30pm. Is it possible to visit your lab and talk with the students working there before you come, if anyone is still in town at this moment?

I am planning to pay a visit to UCSB in early July. I will be an EE senior next semester, and will start to apply for Ph.D programs. I read your papers on the Four-Eyes Lab and I think your research areas are very interesting. I have experience with robotic vision, ROS, and natural language processing. 

 

In short, I just want to see if you have any free time then. I will not take you too long (probably 15 mins). It would be great if I can talk with other students in your lab.
