[4eyes] Add my iPhone as a device on Apple SDK

Hi Matthew,

It’s been a few years since I actively used iOS for any development.
But I tried to update the UDID from your student under the lab account on Apple developer website.
It seems that I don’t have permission to add to or modify current information of this account.

I’m not 100% sure but recall that Tobias added my device id (UDID) to the account last time.

Hope this information is helpful to solve the issue.

Thanks,
Jay

(Attached image shows that both ‘+’ and ‘edit’ buttons are disabled under my account logged in.)

iOS developers in the lab,

Can someone help a student in my class who’s having a problem getting the iOS Developer license or permission or whatever is needed to move forward? I had the Apple Development system send him an invitation to be part of our development team, but he’s having problems adding his device from Xcode.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
            Matthew

Dear professor Turk,

I have tried adding my device from Xcode and from the iOS developer site. In Xcode, I get an error message stating I don't have the rights to add new devices (attached picture number 1). On the iOS developer site, the add device button is not clickable for me (attached picture number 2).

I don't know how the others have done this. In the iOS certificate section, it is only Honglei Liu, Alick Xu and me who have registered so far for this quarter. Can it be that other groups just haven't come to the stage of adding devices yet? Or maybe they have found another way.

I am sorry to bother you with this. It is my first time developing in Xcode.

Thank you for your help,

Best regards,
Peder Heien Langaard

I think you should be able to do this yourself. I haven’t had to do this for anyone else.
