Participation

This face-to-face AR Community meeting is designed to promote discussion
among ecosystem stakeholders for the development of open and interoperable
AR content and experiences.

During the September session, we will receive updates about Standards under
development from numerous Standards Development Organization spokespeople
and Work Group chairs.

Goals of the Meeting

Following are some of the goals of this meeting:

   - Provide feedback to editors of Mixed and Augmented Reality Reference
   Models

    - Learn about continuing and newly initiated activities relevant to
   open and interoperable AR

    - Discuss emerging challenges which may be addressed via standards or
   open source interfaces


Augmented Reality developers participating in the community are on the
front lines of learning about and influencing the direction of new tools.

The developers encountering obstacles to audience reach and end user
adoption as a result of proprietary technology "silos" are encouraged to
attend to learn about the open specifications and APIs under development,
and to provide their opinions.

All community members are invited to suggest topics for the agenda via
the submission
of position papers
