<p>This face-to-face AR Community meeting is designed to promote discussion among ecosystem stakeholders for the development of open and interoperable AR content and experiences.<br>
<br>
During the September session, we will receive updates about Standards under development from numerous Standards Development Organization spokespeople and Work Group chairs.<br>
<br>
<span style="color:#e37222;font-family:Arial;font-size:144%">Goals of the Meeting</span><br>
</p>
<p>Following are some of the goals of this meeting:<br>
</p>
<ul>
<li>Provide feedback to editors of Mixed and Augmented Reality Reference Models<br>
<br>
</li>
<li>Learn about continuing and newly initiated activities relevant to open and interoperable AR<br>
<br>
</li>
<li>Discuss emerging challenges which may be addressed via standards or open source interfaces</li>
</ul>
<p><br>
Augmented Reality developers participating in the community are on the front lines of learning about and influencing the direction of new tools.<br>
<br>
The developers encountering obstacles to audience reach and end user adoption as a result of proprietary technology "silos" are encouraged to attend to learn about the open specifications and APIs under development, and to provide their opinions.<br>
<br>
All community members are invited to suggest topics for the agenda via the <a href="http://emailaccount.cmail2.com/t/t-l-jlirltd-jttipkij-h/" style="color:#0074aa;text-decoration:none" target="_blank">submission of position papers</a> (see sidebar for more details).<br>
