All,
As we discussed in a recent lab meeting, the MAT End-of-Year Show and our
lab open house will be on Thursday, May 23rd, a month from now. For those of
you new to this, we use the lab open house as an opportunity to communicate
what we're doing to the campus and local community. Lots of people come by,
so it's an opportunity to discuss your work with people from a range of
backgrounds.
Everyone involved in the lab should consider what he or she can present at
the open house. Please think about it and use this spreadsheet to propose
what project(s) you will show. They don't have to be fully completed, mature
research projects - this can also be an opportunity to show something
incomplete and get feedback on it. It can be a live demo, video, a poster,
or perhaps some other format. For now, we just need to know WHO, WHAT, and
WHERE (well, any space and equipment requirements).

We don't yet know the space constraints and how many projects MAT will want
to highlight, but we'll hopefully find these out soon.
Please fill this in ASAP so we can begin the planning process.
Thanks,
Matthew
