Hey folks,

I'm looking for an extra pair of hands for a study I'm doing, and you
can be an author on the paper if you help out :)

Here's my sales pitch:

I need a cable wrangler and extra pair of eyes while the study is
being conducted. Basically your duties will be to split time with me
by making sure the user does not trip or hurt themselves during the
trials. When not wrangling the cables, you will be making sure that
users are not making mistakes during the trials and recording the
mistakes when they do.  This experiment will take around 100 man hours
as each user will need to take 1 hour, and we will need around 100
users. So I will basically need you for two weeks for the study.

After we've analyzed the results we will be publishing this work in a journal.
