[4eyes] Lab Dinner

Dear all,

  I just realize that my five-month stay in Santa Barbara is coming to an
end pretty soon, in fact a little bit too soon. I am leaving this sunny
"Silicon Valley" this weekend. :( Before I leave, I would really love to
have a get-together with you guys (our last lab party was like hmm 4 months
ago??!):D And of course, apart from crying for my departure, we should also
celebrate Marc's joining our lab. May the Swiss corner in our lab continue
forevermore.

  So I am thinking about having a lab dinner this Friday. Though I'd very
much like to show off my cooking, I am afraid I won't have enough time for
that. So I'm thinking about going to the Red Pepper restaurant in Goleta (
http://www.yelp.com/biz/red-pepper-restaurant-goleta#query:red%20pepper%20goleta),
which almost reaches my level of cooking. Rumors said that there are a
couple of nice bars near that restaurant. So we could also spontaneously
stay for another drink after dinner. The place is quite easy to reach by
car/bus/bike.

  It would be nice if you can let me know whether you can join. I will then
reserve a table for us. I'm quite looking forward to seeing you guys! :)
