Dear all,<div><br></div><div>  I just realize that my five-month stay in Santa Barbara is coming to an end pretty soon, in fact a little bit too soon. I am leaving this sunny "Silicon Valley" this weekend. :( Before I leave, I would really love to have a get-together with you guys (our last lab party was like hmm 4 months ago??!):D And of course, apart from crying for my departure, we should also celebrate Marc's joining our lab. May the Swiss corner in our lab continue forevermore. </div>
<div><br></div><div>  So I am thinking about having a lab dinner this Friday. Though I'd very much like to show off my cooking, I am afraid I won't have enough time for that. So I'm thinking about going to the Red Pepper restaurant in Goleta (<a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz/red-pepper-restaurant-goleta#query:red%20pepper%20goleta">http://www.yelp.com/biz/red-pepper-restaurant-goleta#query:red%20pepper%20goleta</a>), which almost reaches my level of cooking. Rumors said that there are a couple of nice bars near that restaurant. So we could also spontaneously stay for another drink after dinner. The place is quite easy to reach by car/bus/bike. </div>
