The CS department is proposing to eliminate ECE152A from the degree
requirements
effective with the Fall 2015 catalog. This is the soonest it can be
done---UC regulations require long lead times on decisions like this.

How this affects you:

3rd and 4th years: The ECE152A requirement will remain in place for
students graduating before F15. If you already took ECE152A, there is
no problem. If you did not already take it, or are considering dropping
it, there may be options for you to substitute another course or
courses in its place, equal to 5 upper division units or more. SEE
OR EMAIL BENJI DUNSON or PHILL CONRAD FOR INDIVIDUAL ADVISING if you are
in this situation.

1st and 2nd years: Until the proposed catalog change is final, you may
want to hold off on taking ECE152A if you haven't done so already, and
stay tuned for further details.
