There is an ongoing debate about *what is more important for success* -
intelligence or hard work. Study after study, in the past twenty years
have shown that, regardless of which one is more important, what you
*believe* is more important has a profound effect on your behaviors and,
as a result, your success.

Diana Franklin willl first present studies over the past twenty years
illustrating the relationship between what people believe and their
success, as well as the reasons for the successes and failures. She'll
then show how these belief systems manifest themselves in the behaviors
of others. She will then present some resent research showing a
difference in how females and males are raised, and how that leads to
fewer females pursuing engineering and computer science degrees.
Finally, Diana Franklin will give practical tips on how you can form a
mindset that leads to success regardless of the mindset of others.
/
Light refreshments will be served./

Hope to see you there,
