I presented a paper at this conference in 2014 and can say it is a really great venue for everything 3D and geometry related. This is nice because many of the main conferences are being dominated by deep nets/machine learning right now. It is also one of the fastest growing conferences (in terms of impact factor) in computer vision.

Chris

---------- Forwarded message ---------
From: Bob Fisher <rbf@inf.ed.ac.uk>
Date: Mon Feb 09 2015 at 4:31:22 PM
Subject: CFP: Inf Conf on 3D Vision
To: <cmsweeney@cs.ucsb.edu>

CALL FOR PAPERS
We invite submissions for the 3DV (3D Vision) conference to be held Oct
19-, in Lyon, France. Submissions are solicited on topics related to
acquiring, modeling, analyzing, and visualizing 3D data. The event will
provide a premier forum for disseminating ideas and results that cover a
broad scope of topics related to 3D research in computer vision and
graphics, from novel optical sensors, signal processing, geometric
modeling, representation, and transmission, to visualization and
interaction, and a variety of applications. All accepted papers will
be published in the IEEE Conference Publishing

Services (CPS) and indexed in IEEE Xplore and CSDL.

The organizers invite you to submit high quality, original full research
papers by

May 29, 2015.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

-Acquisition (sensors, calibration, geometry),
-Modeling (representations, shape, appearance, motion),
-Analysis/Processing (recognition, retrieval, filtering) ,
-Rendering/Interaction (image based modeling and rendering, animation,
interactive modelling, perceptual issues)
-Applications (medical, robotics, cultural heritage)
