problems, training a model can be extremely difficult.</div>

On the other hand, for some applications researchers</div>

contains complicated components that cannot be </div>

explicitly modelled and are usually set through heuristics</div>

rather than with learning methods.</div>

In this thesis, we propose to combine the </div>

known approximations with neural networks for the</div>

complicated components to model the whole process. We train</div>

the neural networks in combination with the known </div>

approximations to achieve the optimal solution. We demonstrate </div>

how this idea can be applied to Monte Carlo denoising to </div>

produce high-quality results and discuss future work in </div>
