<br><br>Hello Elings Hall occupants and users.<br>
<br>
We would like to alert you to a situation that occurred yesterday in the<br>
late afternoon and ask for your assistance.<br>
<br>
An adult Caucasian female, approximately 5’5” with medium length brown<br>
hair, walked through the first floor of the building knocking<br>
(hammering) on items in the hallway (LCD, LN2 tanks, doors, etc.) and<br>
pulling down door signs and throwing them to the floor.In addition, she<br>
was making quite a bit of noise in the first floor lab corridor.<br>
<br>
This instance was the third time that this woman had been seen around<br>
the building within the last week. She was seen on Tuesday in the first<br>
floor lobby, Saturday around the rear entrance to the building and<br>
yesterday late afternoon on the first floor of the building. And it is<br>
possible she may return to the building.<br>
<br>
Though we do not know who this individual is, nor the reasons for their<br>
behavior, we are concerned that she could induce safety issues, e.g.<br>
opening one of the liquid nitrogen dewars in the hallway, confronting<br>
people in the building, etc.<br>
<br>
If you see this person in the building, please call the campus police at<br>
extension 3446 (non-emergency) or 9-911 (emergency). The campus police<br>
has been alerted to this situation and will send officers to our<br>
building once they receive a phone call. Also, please alert myself or<br>
Holly that a call was made.<br>
