The goal of virtual autopsy is to 3D-scan and digitise victims to allow a virtual inspection and autopsy. To improve on the existing scanning technology available, the IRM has recently started a collaboration with the Computer Graphics Group (CGL) at the ETH in Zurich, who are world leading in high-res photogrammetric 3D reconstruction. <o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>In the context of this collaboration we are looking for a computer scientist with a background in computer vision and/or computer graphics to improve and adapt the scanning technology from the CGL to the particular use case of the IRM.
