Even the people responding via Facebook to articles about the acquisition are expressing the betrayal they feel. I personally don't know how to feel about it, either. Being acquired by another company probably would have been a better move. I mean, Facebook's demographic has changed-- they aren't attractive to a younger crowd anymore which was likely to be the driving force of the Oculus in the first place. <div>

This is a huge splash for AR/VR and it will be really interesting to see what direction Facebook decides to take Oculus as a platform.
