Subject: UCF Computer Vision Research Experience for Undergraduates
Dear Esteemed Colleagues,
The University of Central Florida's Center for Research in Computer Vision
(CRCV) will be hosting a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) this
summer. This year's research will focus on Computer Vision topics such as
Crowd Counting, Cancer Detection, and Autonomous Vehicles. The summer
program will provide experience in Deep Learning frameworks implemented in
languages such as Python, as well as many other indispensable skills which
students will be able to add to their resumes.
Our goal with this program is to introduce students to one of the most
cutting-edge fields in computer science. Many of the alumni from this
program have succeeded in publishing papers from their summer projects and
have gone on to procure positions at very prestigious companies and
universities.
We encourage you to share this message with your undergraduates that you
feel may be interested or could benefit from such an experience. Students
may apply at <http://crcv.ucf.edu/REU/> http://crcv.ucf.edu/REU/. We have
attached this year's flyer to provide additional information on the program,
including information about the summer stipends.
Regards,
Mubarak Shah
UCF Trustee Chair Professor
Director of The Center for Research in Computer Vision
