CS undergraduate and graduate students,

Prof. George Legrady (Media Arts and Technology) is looking for students
(grad or undergrad) interested in developing algorithms and software for
exploring software generated photographic-looking images, for research
credit. Please contact him if you're interested or would like more
information.

TOPIC: Computationally Generated & Processing of Complex, 3D Photographic
Images

TO: Undergraduate or graduate students interested in developing
software and algorithms for exploring software generated
photographic-looking images

BENEFITS: Research credits, co-author publications in conferences such as
IEEE VisAp and Exhibition presentations in Siggraph and other venues

WHAT: I am looking to work with Computer Science students to develop
software that will either:
1) produce complex 3D photographic-looking images through
software
2) or produce innovative filters for processing existing
photographs
3) or software development in AR for the new Apple Ipad

GOALS: To result in techniques or images that can be featured in art
museums, media arts conferences, or engineering conferences

CRITERIA: Computational skills, possibly math background, and ideally good
aesthetic
