> Both the Snap Research Scholarship and Fellowship consist of

> - the opportunity to intern at Snap for the 2019 summer or fall

> Applications are welcome from students carrying out exceptional research in areas of computer science relevant to Snap, including Artificial Intelligence, Computational Imaging, Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Data Mining, Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Security, and Speech and Audio Processing, or another related field. The deadline for submitting an application is October 31st, 2018.

> In order to be considered for the 2019 Snap Research Fellowship or Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
> - be registered as a full-time student at a university (as an undergraduate or Master’s student for the Scholarship, and as a PhD student for the Fellowship)
> - remain an active, full-time student for the duration of the 2018-19 academic year 
> - cannot have a close relative working for Snap, Inc.
