Hi all,
I recently joined the OpsLab at JPL and we're looking for interested
students to join us in designing, developing, and experimenting with novel
user interfaces to support an array of space and earth science missions at
JPL. If interested, please see the snippet below and feel free to ask me
more about any potential opportunities.
Thanks,
Ben
*Attention UX **designers, AR/VR enthusiasts, web developers, computer
scientists, game developers, and 3D modelers:*
*NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory* designs, builds, and operates some of
the most advanced and famous robotic systems in the universe including:
*Voyager 1*, the most distant human-made object in existence
*Three generations of Mars rovers* (soon to be four!)
*The Europa Clipper* will search for life in the Jovian moon’s oceans
*A giant flying spider robot* …for science! In spaaace!
These missions present novel design challenges across the entire spectrum
of software and hardware as we apply bleeding-edge augmented reality,
web technologies, and user-centered-design techniques towards the expansion
of humanity's reach into space. See more at http://youtube.com/opslabjpl!
We are looking for students with experience in UX design, HCI, AR/VR, web
