Those of you looking for (particularly undergraduate) research opportunities:

Prof. Mary Hegarty’s lab in Psychology is looking for a CS student (or two) to help with programming projects related to the lab’s research. Ideally, the student should know C based languages (we use C#) and Python. Credit (signed up for CS research) is possible.

Lab: Hegarty Spatial Thinking Lab, https://labs.psych.ucsb.edu/hegarty/mary/

Average hours per week: 3-6 (~ 1-2 credits of 199)

Duration: beyond this quarter

If you might be interested, please contact PhD student Alexander Boone (CC’ed here).

Thank you!
