[4eyes] Various positions (PhD, postdoc, faculty) at Monash University, Australia, in next-generation HCI

In the meantime, Phil and I will be departing on our big move to Melbourne
Australia in a couple months, where I've accepted a professorship at Monash
University to build a new group in next-generation HCI (see attached
announcements for faculty, postdoc, and PhD student openings). Could you
please forward these announcements to relevant UCSB email lists? For the PhD
student stipends, my preference is for applicants who have finished their
masters degree. These stipends are quite generous, and include tuition
waiver, health care costs, relocation, etc.

 

If you have finishing PhDs with relevant interests, please send them our
postdoc announcement. These are 3-year continuing, with a generous salary
for the right candidate. The faculty openings include mid career to senior
openings, with incredible benefits (e.g., 17% retirement contributions, visa
costs covered, generous seed funds & relocation), if you know of people
looking for a great lab. We also will have a visiting faculty program, to
bring in top scientists each year as visitors and collaborators- so if
you're interested in visiting for 2-8 weeks or so, keep me posted! (travel
and living expenses, etc. covered)
