Research Engineer Intern



Position Summary:

We are looking for bright, enthusiastic interns to join our Research Team at
LogMeIn in Santa Barbara, CA.



At LogMeIn, we build cloud-based communication products and strive to make
them beautifully simple and easy-to-use. In the Research Team, we help the
company innovate and prepare for the future. We anticipate future technology
directions, identify opportunities and threats, demonstrate what is possible
and solve the company’s future technical challenges in a wide range of
areas including real-time audio/video conferencing, 360-degree real-time
video communication, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, re-imagined user
experiences and Machine Learning.



The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on programmer and problem solver.
He/she is open minded, eager to learn, grasps new concepts quickly and can
single-handedly take ideas from concept to prototype. The candidate will be
matched to a project based on skills and interest.



Qualifications and Requirements:

●        Students pursuing a B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science
or a closely related field are great candidates.

●        Excellent hands-on programming and rapid-prototyping skills are
required.

●        Experience with C++ or similar is required.

●        Experience with the following is a plus: Augmented Reality,
Virtual Reality, OpenCV, Machine Learning.
