Hi all,

 

Over the past year, I have met many faculty members and students from various departments across the campus. I realized that it would be helpful to set up a campus-wide machine learning mailing list to act like a forum for notices and announcements of interest to the broad machine learning community at UCSB. This includes events, calls for papers, employment-related announcements, etc.

 

I just set up such a mailman list, and please subscribe below if you are interested: 

https://lists.cs.ucsb.edu/mailman/listinfo/ucsb-ml

 

Also, please forward to your colleagues, students, and friends who might be interested.

 

Over the Summer, we will migrate the mailman list to Google Groups as a part of CoE's migration plan, but I believe it is automated and painless.
