Short Term Paid Contract for iOS Objective C Developer / Security Researcher to Audit existing code:

We’re seeking an iOS developer skilled in Objective C programming with a deep understanding of security best practices to inspect and audit our iPhone app’s approximately 3000 lines of code to determine if there are any security vulnerabilities such as malware, private API’s, dynamically loaded content from external sources, data being sent to external servers, unescaped / unvalidated user entry, etc. Additionally, the researcher will need to use Wireshark or other packet sniffing software to capture any network traffic sent or received by the app.

This is an independent contractor short-term “gig” and not an offer for full or part-time employment. Contractor will be responsible for paying any relevant taxes.

Please send price quote and turnaround time estimates to Dorothy Chun, Professor of Education at UCSB <dchun.ucsb at gmail.com <mailto:dchun.ucsb at gmail.com> >
