Note that there is a planned power outage in Elings Hall for next Tuesday or Wednesday, 7-8am. Please let Bob Hanson know if this poses any problems for the lab.

The solar grid repairs of approximately a month ago were effective but, unfortunately, insufficient.  Additional outages are needed: specifically (2) - 1 hour outages, separated by an unknown amount of time dependent on what they find in the first outage.  The first is proposed for T or W next week from 7 - 8am. As before, e-power will be available.

Since we have been having so many outages with the fire, many labs have decided to shut down for the remainder of the year anyway.  I realize this is not a unanimous decision though, and I need potentially affected areas to chime in with their concerns. I have delayed this request a week already asking FM to take a thorough look at all possible scenarios to explore during this outage in the hope of minimizing any more.

Please let me know if the proposed dates and time will not work for you.
