A complete power outage is scheduled for August 19th from 6am to 5pm for Elings Hall.  Only emergency power circuits will remain energized during this time - Note: emergency circuits will experience a brief power loss of up to 30 seconds while the generator starts up and picks up load, and again when normal power is restored.  Only circuits with appropriate UPS devices will have continuous power.  Do not shift non-emergency equipment to the emergency system for this outage.  An overload could impact all emergency equipment.

Anyone with a regular, non-emergency, refridgerator should remove all perishable items prior to the 19th and ensure that all ice is removed to prevent water spills.  If you have other equipment that you are unsure about the impact of this outage, please contact me as soon as possible.

I will be sending an update on Saturday when normal power is restored, and any other time as warranted.  Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this critical tie in of the solar power grid.
