The Imaging and Video group of Disney Research in Zurich has open researcher positions. Our group conducts research in all areas related to digital image and video processing, at the interface of computer vision, graphics, and machine learning. 

 

Thanks to Disney Research's unique setting at the very heart of the entertainment industry, a great amount of inspiration for our work is coming from our friends and collaborators at Industrial Light & Magic, Marvel, Pixar, Disney Studios, Media Networks, and Walt Disney Imagineering. 

 

This enables us to work on exciting research projects with significant real-world impact. Our technologies have already contributed to and have been credited in several feature films and theme park attractions. In addition, our close relationship to the computer science department of ETH Zurich enables collaborations with other researchers, supervision of students at all levels, and teaching opportunities.

 

We are looking for strong researchers with PhD in computer vision or graphics. General prerequisites are self-motivation and creativity, strong programming skills, and independent leadership and supervision abilities.
