[4eyes] Visitor tomorrow: Dieter Schmalstieg

Hi everyone -

Siggraph is coming to a close today, and Dieter Schmalstieg will be 
visiting UCSB tomorrow. For those of you who don't know Dieter, here is

We gave a course on AR together last Sunday, with more than 350 people 
in the audience, which is not bad for SIGGRAPH Sunday. Dieter has a 
great group spanning AR and VR, real-time vision, InfoVis, and GPU 
computing at TU-Graz. There is lots of synergy with our lab, and I'd 
like for him to see as much of our work as possible.

We'll have a lab meeting tomorrow at 2pm, and Dieter has agreed to show 
some of his lab's recent results. This should be interesting! Hope you 
all can make it. Also, I'm hoping that you are available to demo our 
latest work to Dieter (either in the morning, or after the lab meeting.
