Job number: P13INT-06 
Honda Research Institute in Mountain View, California, has an opening for a
summer internship in deep learning for object detection applied to
autonomous driving vehicles and smart driver assist systems. Specifically,
we are interested in detection of traffic participants in image sequences
captured by cameras that are mounted on our experimental car. The goal of
the internship is to develop a novel system that can be demonstrated in our
test vehicle and has the potential of being published on a top vision or
machine learning conference. 

Requirements: 
- Enrolled in a PhD program in CS, EE or Math. 
- Has experience with deep learning / convolutional neural networks and
related software tools.   
- Solid background in computer vision and machine learning 
- Expertise in Matlab, Python or C++ 

Our internship program provides a dynamic environment that lets graduate
students engage in cutting-edge industrial  research. Our interns will work
on exciting and novel projects and will be able to publish their results on
top conferences and journals.  We offer competitive salaries and interns are
eligible for relocation stipends.
