Hi All,
Below is a link to Juji.com --a social media startup that a
collaborator of mine (Michelle Zhou) is working on. Their app uses a
"dna" perspective on social media data. They are looking for
students to sign up and are also giving away some cool stuff for the
first 5000 sign-ups.

I just tried it and it had some interesting results.

Cheers,
 -John

Hello, John

We are doing more trials with our current prototype--you are also most
welcome to try it out yourself. Since students are most enthusiastic
about it, we are inviting more to access.

Could you forward our invitation to the UCSB students if you could?

thanks very much for your help!

Michelle

Love Divergent or Minority Report? Do you believe a computer can
actually know you better than you know yourself? If that's the case,
what would you do with such insights? Self discovery? Self bragging?
Self enhancement? or Simply finding out what other like-minded people
have been enjoying? We build a tool called Juji. Just like the
“precog” Agatha in Minority Report, Juji automatically infers your
traits, such as your strengths, thinking style, and likelihood to a
long life or professional success, from your own data (e.g., Facebook
posts and tweets). It can also infer the traits of other people (e.g.,
your friends, teachers, and dates) from their public data (e.g.,
public tweets).

Since many students have tested and liked our tool, we are now
inviting more students (up to 5000). As saying our thanks for your
participation, we will give out the following prizes according to the
time you sign up:

1 $100 Amazon Gift Card for the 1st 1000 users
2 $50 for the 2nd 1000 users
4 $25 for the 3rd 1000 users
10 $10 for the 4th 1000 users
20 $5 for the final 1000 users

So hurry up to sign in at https://juji.io with your Facebook or
Twitter Id to check out what Juji knows about you and other people you
care!

IMPORTANT: When we reach every milestone (e.g., reaching the first
1000 users), we will randomly draw a winner. We will then notify the
winner(s) via their email with an Amazon gift card number. If you sign
in with your Twitter Id, you must follow the login process to enter
AND confirm your correct email address to be legible for the drawing
and notification. If you sign in with your Facebook Id, you don’t need
to do anything extra.

For your reference, attached are two examples of Juji inferred
portraits, one for Lady Gaga and the other for President Obama, from
their tweets, respectively.

thanks,

The Juji Team
