[4eyes] New visitor arriving March 20, Dr. Xiong Lei

We have a new visitor to the lab arriving on Friday: Xiong Lei, who is an Associate Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong University in Xi-an, China. He plans to stay at UCSB for a year. Dr. Xiong’s main research interests include computer vision and image processing, particularly human face synthesis and recognition. He is currently interested in facial motion analysis and representation using region features.

 

He is still looking for a place to live, so if you have any ideas or good contacts, will you please get in touch with him? He’s CC’ed on this email.
