Today there is a CS faculty candidate talk at 3:30pm. There are several over
the next two weeks; please try to attend:

- Today: Aditya Bhaskara, postdoc at Google Research (PhD from
Princeton)

- Wednesday: Cho-Jui Hsieh, PhD student at UT Austin

- Next Monday: Lu Wang, PhD student at Cornell

- Next Wednesday: Yudong Chen, postdoc at Berkeley (PhD from UT
Austin)

All of our candidates have some overlap with machine learning. Last week's
candidate was from the NLP/"text as big data" perspective. The four above
are basically from theory, statistics, NLP, and statistics perspectives (in
the order above).

Also, don't forget Yun's PhD proposal at 1:00pm this Wednesday!

                Matthew
