Subject: Research scientist positions in Adobe's Creative Technologies Lab
(please pass on...)
Adobe's Creative Technologies Lab seeks applications for research scientist
positions at either the junior or senior level. We are especially looking
for applicants with strong backgrounds in graphics & imaging (including new
hardware for imaging, capture, and interaction), computer vision, audio,
machine learning, human-computer interaction (HCI), security, information
visualization, and natural-language processing and interfaces, though
applicants with backgrounds in other areas of computer science will also be
considered.
Our lab is a part of Adobe Research. It is an open and collaborative
environment, with a world-class set of researchers in digital imaging,
computer vision and graphics, audio processing, machine learning, HCI, and
information visualization. Additionally, Adobe's continuing growth in areas
like digital marketing, cloud computing, online creative communities, and
mobile product development provide a wealth of new data and research
directions.
The job provides the flexibility to choose your own projects, collaborate
broadly-with students and peers in both academia and industry-and publish
your work. In addition, you will have the unique opportunity to have an
impact on the lives of millions by transferring your research into products.
Required skills:
* Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, statistics, or a
related field
* Strong academic publication record
* Strong communication skills and team work experience
Preferred additional skills:
* For the senior position, 10+ years' experience
Locations: San Francisco, Seattle, or Cambridge MA
To apply for this position, please send your CV, research statement, short
list of references, and 1-3 representative papers to ctl-jobs at adobe.com.
