[4eyes] Housing advice/help for lab visitor arriving in January

Dr. Julia Kuosmanen from the University of Tampere, Finland, will visit the
lab for a year starting in January. Her main research interests are in
computer vision, pattern recognition, and HCI. She's visited the lab briefly
before (you may remember her as Yulia Gizatdinova).

 

She and her husband are looking for housing beginning in January. I told her
that people in the lab would be helpful in giving her
pointers/suggestions/advice about housing in Santa Barbara. Will you please
send her any such tips? She's CC'ed here.
