    We are looking for a strong machine learning researcher with computer
vision expertise (other way around is fine) who can do a fair amount of
independent investigation (mid to senior PhD student preferred) with hands
on skills. Please contact me if you are interested. Below is a short
description of the project.

Intel Labs is offering an internship opportunity to develop/apply
fundamental innovations in computer vision and machine learning to create
breakthrough solutions for real world problems. This internship offers an
exciting opportunity for cutting edge industrial research with access to
real world data, work with a high performing team of researchers at Intel
Labs. We are investigating how to collect and process massive amounts of
image data with cutting-edge software and hardware, exploring a complete
system spanning imaging systems, data transfer, server-based data analytics,
and rendering on mobile devices. Focus areas for the internship involve
developing real world object recognition systems with ability to scale and
adapt, utilizing latest advances in machine learning.

Qualifications
 Ph.D. student in EE or CS major,
1+ years of research and formal training in machine learning/computer vision
1+ years on software prototyping/algorithm design/development skills
