Below is some information about the robocup competition. This year it will
also be held in Brazil:

My Alma Mater UNAM is regularly participating. Victor actually was also
part of the team previously, working on the computer vision part. Below are
some news reports I found. It is pretty interesting to read about how they
are tackling the problem. Unfortunately the news reports  are all in
