Disney Research Pittsburgh has summer 2014 internship positions
available in our Computer Vision group. Candidates should be currently
enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, or related discipline,
have at least one publication in a top-tier vision conference, and have
excellent written and oral communication skills. Early application is
encouraged as positions are available throughout the year. As an active
member of the research community we support and assist with publications
at top venues.
We have opportunities for internships in a variety of areas in computer
vision, including:
* Face modeling, tracking and analysis
* Performance capture and retargeting
* Machine learning
* Vision for graphics
* Video sequence analysis and/or modeling
* Activity and Action recognition
* Pose estimation and tracking
* Gesture analysis
* Object detection and tracking
* Feature selection
* Computational photography
