Hi all,

I thought people might enjoy a somewhat different topic for reading 
group -- let's discuss:

"Modeling How People Extract Color Themes from Images" by Lin & 
Hanrahan, Stanford Univ

It was presented, and won a honorable mention, at CHI two weeks ago.

It features color perception, a bit of low-level vision, some machine 
learning, and a user study, so hopefully something interesting for 
everybody.
