You got the same thing that I just came up with while I was watching it. :)
I also wonder how they localize its absolute or relative location, especially, when you want to mark something on the projection screen in the middle of your presentation.
No matter what, this seems a great technology that we need to investigate.

Kind of hard to believe that someone skiing could change the song they are listening to with this device then immediately do a backflip/grab their skis without changing the song again.
