I checked on the lab jobs list, and some regular lab members have still not
signed up for one of the three categories (systems, web,
office/atmosphere/equipment). If you are advised (or funded) by Tobias or
me, you should be on that list. (Short-term visitors, you're welcome to help
out too, but you don't have to sign up for a category.)

Subject: [4eyes] Lab jobs
All,
As we've discussed, everyone involved in the lab on a regular basis is
expected to help out with either Systems, Web, or Atmosphere. If that
describes you, please volunteer for one of the following groups via the
Google document:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1s-AvSlHGFfNvIODnk1nGWCJiHnd7r8ZEoPPL7Nsq
8LQ/edit.
1. Systems [Leads: John and Chris S.]
Responsible for general system administration, including network security
and backups.
2. Web [Leads: Steffen and Saiph]
Responsible for making sure we communicate an accurate, up-to-date, and
dynamic picture of the lab, especially for the outside world to view.
Publications, research descriptions, announcements, etc.
3. Office/atmosphere/equipment [Leads: Jay and Victor]
Responsible for lab printers, water, refrigerator, microwaves, furniture,
general equipment, and overall order and cleanliness (which may mean telling
people to clean up after themselves). Also, physical security (locking
windows, making sure people are aware of security issues and procedures,
etc.). Locate and keep track of our equipment - both immobile (workstations,
etc.) and mobile (cameras, etc.)
Thanks,
Matthew
