The Google Photos team made a splash in 2013 with announcements of new
features that automatically improve your images, enhancing exposure and
saturation, bringing out detail while reducing noise, adding stylistic
effects, even making HDRs, panoramas, and animated GIFs! Check out

opportunities for publication and continuing collaborations post-internship.

We have offices in Mountain View and Los Angeles, as well as Luebeck,
Germany, with opportunities in each location. Our research interests
for 2014 include:

* Content-aware automatic photo editing
* Video analysis, scene segmentation, scene labeling, video rendering
* Processing and enhancement of RAW images
* Camera lens simulations
* Automatic stitching and alignment of document images
* Image restoration including noise reduction and in-painting
* Interactive 2D photographic image filters
