Hey everyone,

I hope you're all having an excellent Thanksgiving.

This Monday I'm presenting a paper from this year's CHI. It's on a user
study done in India to look at participant response bias. In it they
presented users with two video clips on smartphones, one of which had
supposedly been improved, and had the users compare the two. In one
experiment the quality of the videos was the same, and in the other, one
video was noticeably worse. They then looked to see how the responses they
got changed depending on if the person presenting the videos indicated
which video they had supposedly worked on and if the presenter was a local
or foreign researcher.

Cheers,
