Subject: [4eyes] MAT + 4eyes end of year show
Hello,
I was just speaking with Xárene and Domagoj about the end of the year show,
and I realized nothing had been brought up (at least not to my or Domagoj's
knowledge) about the submission process. If you'd like to have your work
presented in the show, you need to complete a form. I'm inlining the
(slightly edited) email Xárene send to the MAT students list:
The project submission deadline is Sunday 18 March 11:59pm.
This is the final deadline; the Curatorial Committee (Myles, Sölen and
myself) need time to review your proposals and be in communication with you
before Spring quarter begins.
I would appreciate that those of you ready to submit earlier, to please do
so. Don't wait until the last minute!
Keep in mind that you are not chiseling your proposal in granite. You're
telling us what you want to do and what you need in order to accomplish it.

Cheers.
Xárene
You don't need to have finished your research by March 18th or have
completed documentation. What Xárene (the show organizer who is cc'd on this
email) really needs to know is a head count of who is going to present,
where you want to present (you are welcome to present outside of the lab if
you like and Matthew and Tobias think it's appropriate) and what, if any,
additional resources you need. This info is needed for logistical
preparation and also for PR materials to promote the show.
Please contact Xárene if you have any questions, and please cc her with any
questions or comments you might have that are sent to the list. Thanks -
Charlie
