Subject: Computer Vision Internship at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center

 

The Exploratory Computer Vision Group is looking for a self-motivated
student with strong system building skills and strong background in computer
vision and machine learning. The internship will involve 1) building a
large-scale learning software infrastructure for visual content modeling and
2) research activities, targeting top premiere computer vision conferences
such as ICCV/CVPR/ECCV. Experience in one or more of the following topics
are desirable:

- Large-Scale Visual Learning
- Image Categorization and Object Localization
- Layered Learning of Semantic Concepts and Attributes
- Image Matching and Retrieval
- Application Areas: Biometrics, Multimedia Retrieval, Robotics, Video
Surveillance


Requirements: 

- Strong programming skills in C/C++.
- Hands-on experience and understanding of state-of-the-art computer vision
research
- Both MSc and PhD students will be considered
- Interns available for six or more months will be preferred
